I bought one doll from a second hand store and one from ebay. They were very dirty. I tried baby wipes first and then I tried magic erase sponge. I worked like a charm. I even used it on the face. I was careful not to rub too hard on the cheeks. I did not what to remove any color. It took off all the dirt and marks. The only thing that it did not remove was ink. I will be using the oxy stuff on this in a couple of days. Just wanted to let everyone know what I found. Kim

What is a magic erase sponge and where do you get one?

    Thanks for the tips!

I think they are like those Mr. Clean sponges that are marketed for getting crayon and scuff marks off of walls?
